During these consultations, we carefully map out complaints, functioning, capacity for exertion, the request for help, and objectives. The findings are discussed within a multidisciplinary consultation. Based on this, we assess which treatment trajectory best suits the client's situation. The treatment consists of various treatment components, aimed at restoring functioning, control, and vitality.
The duration of the treatment process is 16-20 weeks on average and varies per client, depending on the symptoms, the request for help, and the personal situation.During the intake and diagnostics, the appropriate treatment plan and the expected treatment duration are discussed.

Certainly. If it becomes apparent that there is a language barrier preventing care from being provided in an appropriate manner, an interpreter can be deployed in consultation. The organization dedicated to the quality of medical care and public health (KNMG) states the following regarding this:" For good care, doctors and other healthcare providers need a wider use of professional interpreters, as NIVEL research (2016) also previously showed. This applies particularly to situations where the patient does not speak sufficient Dutch, the nature of the care request requires a professional interpreter, and the patient demonstrably cannot afford a professional interpreter. Without an interpreter, these patients face additional health risks, as does society as a whole, for example in the case of infectious diseases. In addition, misunderstandings lead to increased healthcare utilization and thus to additional costs.
